sUPERSTAr tALk

HELLO!!! after a LONG sleep, i have been recharged! haha... yesterday and the day before like no sleep properly ah... den feel so lethargic... so anyway, yesterday we received a certificate which looked like a warning letter... hahaha... den we were like discussing on how we can actually bluff our way through with a 'warning letter' in our portfolio... lol... so anyway... i slept from 9pm yesterday till 11am this morning... hahaha... feel better of course... hoho... and exams are just around the corner... o ya... found out yesterday that kenneth's birthday was on 27th and mine was on the 28th... hahaha... so coincidental...

saw the repeat of superstar for the guys... den i thought about the results and all... The current hot topic is about why kelvin got in instead of Jun Yang... for me... i think i am quite neutral with the superstars cos i dun really support who la... here and there i might comment on the cuteness, the pretty looks and so on... but i dun really support any of them... so... wat i m gonna say may irritate some people and i dun mind hearing ur point of views... so... here i go... i find that its true in this world that there are many compassionate people and people with sympathy... i think people support kelvin becos of his good voice... but dun you think jun yang has a better voice? it goes to show different tastes but for me... i m sure that i prefer jun yang's voice... and to be truthful, they're looking for a SUPERSTAR... not just any GOOD singer... if u ask me... i have to admit that people look for looks afterall... not saying that kelvin is ugly or watever... but wouldn't it be difficult for him to go overseas? wouldn't it be difficult for him to even go up a stage alone? i dunno... people are voting for someone they like... or someone that has a good voice? den wat about all the other areas that are needed to be looked into for a superstar? When a fat or plump person goes on stage to perform... they turn them away becos of their weight... nicely put, their looks... No matter how nice he or her singing is, they'll still turn them away... den what has happened now? everyone changed and do not care about looks anymore? Please... life is unfair and fair at the same time... for some people, one thing might be fair... but for others... that might be unfair... we cannot make everyone happy and there's sure to be some win-lose scenarios...

i dunno but all these competitions like singapore idol, project superstar and so on... they are looking out for talents but at the same time... hidden agendas are there... one example might be the comapnies want to make money out of the show... Like for Project Superstar... u all see the VODA VODA advertisements very frequently right? Turn out a bottle of water cost more than $1... A LOT of money is being made from these projects... if not why they want to make these projects? these shows...

In the end... it all comes down to us supporters, customers and people who watch television... if we do not support them... do you think the companies want them (singers and so on)? They need our support in order to go to the next stage... now the talent, the looks, the voice and so on... all comes second place... the top criteria is whether you can suck up to us consumers isn't it... hai... why bother about all these? i just lead my own life and feel happy because there are a few clowns people entertaining me and that's cool... i guess we will more or less be affected by the media... like fashion, the way they talk and so on... just dun get the bad things from them like violence all those can liao...

7 more days... I M SO EXCITED!!! hahaha... u all lei? excited not? lol... hope ALL of u can COME ESCAPE ah... den it'll be so FUN!!! hahaha... ok la... go off liao...
