Me: *laughs*
Colleague: Aren't you sad that your grandmother passed away?
Me: *thinks* (I was sad when she left us but she didn't take my laughter away with her.) but says instead, "A good thing she left since she didn't have to suffer anymore."
Colleague: *nods head*

This conversation got me thinking.

  1. We can grieve but how long does it take to "show" that you really care about someone?
  2. If you grieve for more than 10 years and still continue grieving, does that erase all the scoldings, naggings and unhappiness that you made the person who passed away feel for all the years that he/she was alive?
  3. Does grieving mean that there will never be a smile on your face ever again?
  4. Does it mean that your funny bone has been taken away from you and you can never appreciate a good joke?
Sometimes when you care deeply for someone, you will grieve for that person. Maybe for a long long time but that person has already left us and i know they will want us to go on with our lives. Be as brave as before or even braver for the coming days.

So I wanna say, If you want to cry, Cry. If you want to laugh, Laugh. If you want to shout, Shout. If you want to slap some bugger who got on your nerves, Find a pillow.

Don't wait till you no longer have a chance and then start regretting because by then, it'll be too late. Live!
